Hello and welcome to our latest newsletter. The newsletter goes to our 449 BBB members, as well as on our Facebook page – so it’s a very cost effective way to tell everyone who you are and what you do, or to feature or advertise your upcoming event. In this issue we take a quick PROCESS CHECK to share some thoughts, ideas and opportunities to get your feedback on how we are progressing as a business network.
TIME FOR A PROCESS CHECK!
We’ve been going now for around 18 months, and in that time have grown from 6 small and medium business people at breakfast to around 50! Our mailing list has also increased from 1 (me) to 449, which is fantastic.
Opportunities for Beach Business Breakfast members to meet new business contacts, promote your business and hopefully get more customers comes through our:
- monthly breakfast get-togethers
- “getting to know you” podcasts
- weekly(ish) newsletter
- Facebook page
- 2 minutes of fame at some of our breakfasts, and
- the popular “Speed Business Networking” we hold each quarter
- sponsorship of Merewether Surf Club
We are considering doing a survey of members to identify if the Beach Business Breakfast is helping you all get more business contacts and customers – but before we do we would appreciate any feedback on the network and if there is anything else we can do (that won’t take up too much time) to help you in your business.
One thing we do want to try is some Collaboration Groups – informal (like the rest of the Beach Business Breakfast), but with an objective/focus and timeframe designed to bring together members with a common goal.
So here goes
I’m interested in Collaborating with other BBB members who have a product or service that costs between $5-20,000 that need a finance solution for their clients. So if your business (or part of your business) is in this price range, and you find you miss out on sales because clients can’t afford it then I’d love the opportunity to work with you to provide a finance solution.
